It is
noted that a record-breaking 215 goals were scored in the opening 72 matches of
the tournament. From this total, FIFA experts selected the top 12 standalone
goals.
Alongside
global stars such as Argentina captain Lionel Messi, France forward Kylian
Mbappé, and Brazil's Vinícius Júnior, the captain of the Uzbekistan national
team, Eldor Shomurodov, is also featured among the nominees.
Shomurodov’s
precise and skillful lob shot against the DR Congo national team was recognized
as one of the most beautiful goals of the group stage. This goal became one of
the brightest moments of Uzbekistan’s debut appearance at the World Cup.
According
