This was reported in the press service of the Agency for Migration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The documents create a legal mechanism guaranteed by the states regulating the opportunities for Uzbek citizens to find employment, study and legally reside in Sweden.

According to the agreement:

Cooperation will be established to train qualified specialists for the Swedish labor market in the fields of healthcare, technology, maintenance and care.;

Mechanisms of interaction between Uzbek candidates and Swedish employers will be created.;

academic exchange opportunities for students, doctoral students and young researchers will expand;

Additional guarantees will be introduced to protect the rights of participants in migration programs and their family members.;

Visa procedures will be simplified and a 30-day visa-free regime will be introduced for holders of diplomatic passports.;

Cooperation on combating illegal migration, human trafficking and document forgery will be strengthened.

In addition, with the participation of the International Organization for Migration, a pilot program will be implemented, within the framework of which it is planned to study the needs of the Swedish labor market, as well as organize Swedish language courses and vocational training programs for citizens of Uzbekistan.
