A
pre-investigation check conducted by the Takhtakupir District Department of the
Department under the General Prosecutor's Office revealed that materially
responsible personnel of the "Takhtakupir tumangaz" supply department
embezzled 1,067 liquefied gas cylinders valued at 1 billion UZS.
A criminal
case has been initiated over this incident under Article 167 of the Criminal
Code (embezzlement or misappropriation), and investigative operations are
currently ongoing.
