According
to the decree, the 1200th anniversary of Hakim Termizi's birth is widely
celebrated this year.
In November
2026, the city of Termez will host an international conference on the topic
"The importance of the scientific and spiritual heritage of Hakim Termizi
in modern times."
Academic
research translations with comments into Uzbek and foreign languages of Hakim
Termizi's works "Navodirul usul" and "Bahrut Tafsir", as
well as other sources related to the thinker's scientific heritage, will be
published.
During
2026, a series of pamphlets dedicated to the scientific legacy of Hakim Termizi
will be prepared for publication and printed.
Together
with the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, a contest "Expert in the works
of Hakim Termizi" will be held among students of religious educational
institutions, and the winners will be duly awarded.
In
connection with the 1200th anniversary of the thinker's birth, a kurash
tournament dedicated to the memory of Hakim Termizi will be held at a high
level in November 2026 under the motto "Mardlar Maidoni".
