At the
beginning of the meeting, the Minister conveyed the warm greetings and best
wishes of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the
dialogue, issues of elevating relations between Uzbekistan and Algeria to a
qualitatively new level were discussed. The parties exchanged views on
intensifying political dialogue, expanding trade, economic, and investment
cooperation, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
At the
same time, topical issues on the regional and international agenda, as well as
prospects for cooperation within the framework of international organizations,
were reviewed.
Highly
appreciating the firm commitment of the Algerian leadership to developing
relations between the two nations, the Uzbek side emphasized its readiness to
continue close cooperation to enrich multi-faceted partnership with new
substance, fully utilize the existing potential, and achieve tangible results.
