The meeting was
attended by the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, NVIDIA’s
Vice President for Global AI Infrastructure Development Nicolo Caprese, as well
as Firebird President Alexander Esayan and Managing Director Razmig
Hovaghimian.
During the
dialogue, the guests were presented with ongoing reforms in the field of
artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan. In particular, information was provided
regarding the incentives created for the placement of AI data centers in the
Republic of Karakalpakstan, ongoing projects in the country, and initiatives
for training qualified personnel.
Furthermore,
representatives from NVIDIA and Firebird presented a large-scale AI
infrastructure project. The proposal involves the construction of a high-power,
modern AI data center with an initial capacity of 125 megawatts, expandable up
to 250 megawatts.
