A guard of honor was lined up on the square in front of the residence. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.
A military orchestra played the national anthems of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic. The leaders inspected the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.
Following the ceremony and a joint photo session, high-level talks commenced.
