As of April
1, the permanent population was 38,382,685 people. The consumer price index
reached 101.9% compared to December of the previous year, reflecting a moderate
level of inflation.
The
country's gross domestic product increased by 8.7%, confirming the high rate of
economic growth. The volume of industrial production increased by 8.0%, while
construction work showed a significant increase of 15.5%.
The
consumer sector also showed active development: the volume of retail turnover
increased by 25.4%, and market services - by 16.1%. The foreign trade turnover
increased by 2.7%.
The
agricultural sector - agriculture, forestry and fisheries - recorded an
increase of 5.1%. The real total incomes of the population increased by 7.8%,
which indicates a gradual increase in the standard of living.
In
addition, as of April 1, 2026, there were 487,098 enterprises and organizations
operating in the country (excluding farms and dehkan farms), reflecting the
continued development of the business environment.
