Specifically, on the night leading into November 6, the air quality in the city of Tashkent deteriorated during the evening hours. Starting from 8:00 PM, the air quality reached the "unhealthy" level according to the International Air Quality Index (AQI). After midnight, however, the air quality improved, and it was observed at a "moderate" level during the morning hours. According to the National Air Quality Index, the city's average indicator was at the "yellow" level until midnight, and then shifted to the "green" level.

During the evening hours, light winds restricted the dispersion of atmospheric emissions and PM particles formed in local and neighboring areas, creating conditions for them to remain trapped in the layer close to the earth's surface. After midnight, the influx of warm and dry air from the east, an increase in wind speed, and improved air circulation caused the PM particles to disperse, significantly improving the air quality.

Additionally, specialists from the State Unitary Enterprise "National Center for Environmental Monitoring" conducted instrumental measurements on the state of air quality in Tashkent city and the Qibray district. According to forecasts, the air quality in Tashkent city today, November 6, is expected to be mostly "unhealthy for sensitive groups" according to the International AQI, and mostly "green"—with occasional "yellow" periods—according to the national index.

For context, measures aimed at improving air quality are currently ongoing. In particular, based on appeals received from citizens, officers of the Eco-police under the Ministry of Ecology investigated the operations of "N.H.P." LLC in Tashkent in accordance with the established procedure. During the investigation, it was determined that the enterprise had failed to comply with several environmental requirements, and appropriate measures were taken alongside the issuance of relevant directives.

Furthermore, serious environmental violations were observed at another construction site in Tashkent, and necessary measures were defined. A briefing was also held to inform the public about the negative consequences of burning plant residues and the strict liabilities imposed for doing so.

Raid and control operations are ongoing.
