The coach
emphasized that the team demonstrated many positive aspects on the field and
maintained a disciplined game even after the score became 1-0.
"We
continued to act as a team and fought until the end. It is not easy to play against
national teams of this level. Nevertheless, I saw many positive aspects in the
players' actions. These are exactly the kinds of matches we need, because when
you play against strong opponents, you always learn something and gain
experience," Cannavaro said.
Answering
a question about mistakes in the defensive line, the specialist emphasized that
football cannot be imagined without errors.
"It
is absolutely impossible to play football without mistakes. Our task is to help
the players minimize such errors as much as possible. Honestly, I saw more
positive aspects than defensive shortcomings," he said.
Cannavaro
also shared his thoughts on the team's physical condition. According to him,
the training camp started more than a month ago, while the foreign-based
players joined the squad later.
"I
believe we have done a good job in terms of physical preparation. Of course,
there are issues related to some players that need to be resolved, and we will
continue to work in this direction," said the head coach of the Uzbekistan
national team.
