A citizen
of Uzbekistan, H.U., who was temporarily in Vladivostok, applied to the
consular institution with a request to assist her and her husband O.A. in
returning to Uzbekistan due to lack of funds and difficult financial situation,
the Dune news agency reports.
As it was
established during the consideration of the appeal, citizen H.U. arrived in
Primorsky Krai in 2025 to work next to her husband and worked in various
temporary jobs. However, on March 30, 2026, O.A. suffered a severe head injury
as a result of a fall and ended up bedridden, unable to move independently.
Due to the
need for constant care for her husband, H.U. was forced to stop working. As a
result, there were insufficient funds to pay for temporary housing, food,
medical treatment, and the purchase of necessary medicines.
Taking into
account the current situation, with the assistance of the Consulate General and
at the expense of the Migration Fund, air tickets were purchased for compatriots,
as well as a doctor accompanying him, sent from Uzbekistan.
On July 15,
the citizens were sent on a flight on the Vladivostok - Moscow - Tashkent route
and returned safely to their homeland.
