According
to the decree, in the period from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028, at the
expense of the Fund for the Support of Light Industry:
Enterprises
processing hides and producing finished leather are allocated a subsidy of 350
soums for each square decimeter of finished leather produced and sold.;
enterprises
producing footwear and leather goods are allocated a subsidy of 1 million soums
for each new model introduced into production, but not more than 50 million
soums per enterprise during one calendar year.;
50 percent
of the cost of shoe pads imported by shoe manufacturing enterprises for their
own needs is reimbursed, but in an amount not exceeding 10 thousand US dollars
in one calendar year for the countries of the European Union, and 5 thousand US
dollars for other countries.;
50 percent
of the cost of chemicals and reagents purchased by light industry enterprises
for water purification at wastewater treatment plants within the established
standards is reimbursed.
From
September 1, 2026:
The
procedure for awarding additional points and granting price preferences of up
to 15 percent to enterprises participating in public procurement is being
introduced, based on the level of use of local leather raw materials and
components based on cooperation in the production of products, the number of
jobs created, as well as the presence of a duly registered trademark and
brand.;
For
government customers, a requirement is being introduced to place information
about the certificate of conformity in the description of the subject of public
procurement of special shoes purchased through the electronic public
procurement system.
