The event
was also attended by Hans Kluge, Director of the Regional Office for Europe of
the World Health Organization, and Han Suhel, Deputy Secretary General of the
SCO.
The key
topics of the meeting were the strengthening of national health systems and the
development of joint approaches to shaping a healthy future. The participants
discussed disease prevention measures, the introduction of modern treatment
methods, as well as the digitalization of the medical industry.
During the
meeting, the delegations presented the best practices of their countries, and
also held a number of bilateral negotiations aimed at expanding cooperation.
In
particular, representatives of Uzbekistan discussed issues of cooperation in
the field of healthcare with the delegations of China, Belarus, Kazakhstan and
Kyrgyzstan.
