The heads of state discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations built on robust bonds of centuries-old friendship and neighborliness, and principles of confidence and strategic partnership.
The Presidents noted with satisfaction the close coordination and active exchanges at the government level in order to swiftly overcome the consequences of coronavirus contagion.
Particular attention was paid to promoting joint programs and projects aimed at increasing trade turnover indicators, at enhancing cooperation by supporting new initiatives in business and regions, as well as holding cultural and humanitarian events.
Views were exchanged on the events in the region. The Presidents expressed hope for the soonest stabilization of the situation in Kyrgyzstan in accordance with the norms of the Constitution and the national legislation of this country.
