Uzbekistan
was represented at the event in the field of science and technology by
Akbarkhon Sobirkhonov, an adviser to the Minister of Higher Education, Science
and Innovation and the director of the office.
During the
meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of taking cooperation between
the Republic of Korea and the countries of Central Asia in the field of
science, technology and innovation to a qualitatively new level.
The
participants noted the need to combine the scientific and technological
potential of Korea and the states of Central Asia, and to expand interaction
between universities, research institutes, government organizations and
technology partners.
The
importance of further developing cooperation through the implementation of
joint projects and achieving practical results was also emphasized.
