About 500
military personnel took part in the competition as part of 12 teams from seven
countries, including the USA, Azerbaijan, Australia and Poland. The competition
was also monitored by military personnel from eight other countries, including
Turkey, Mexico, the Philippines and Malaysia.
In the
current stage of the competition, which has been held since 2023, participants
completed combat missions in mountainous, wooded and urban areas, and also completed
a comprehensive stage involving performing tasks simultaneously in three types
of terrain.
The
military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan have demonstrated
high results in various disciplines.
In
particular, while performing a task in a mountainous area, the Uzbek team,
without suffering losses, destroyed a simulated enemy occupying defensive
positions and captured seven flags. According to the organizers, no team has
ever managed to achieve such a result before.
During the
assignment in an urban area, Uzbek soldiers also attacked a simulated enemy,
captured all facilities and seven flags, setting another competition record.
In
addition, while completing the task of holding defensive facilities in an urban
area, the Uzbek team captured seven facilities and all flags without loss,
updating the competition record.
According
to the results of the competition, the Uzbek team scored 316 points and took
the first place. The second place with a score of 212 points was taken by the
team of Cambodia, the third place with 192 points was taken by the team of the
Republic of Korea.
A solemn
meeting of the winners was held at Tashkent's Islam Karimov International
Airport. The event was attended by senior officers of the Ministry of Defense,
representatives of the public and the media.
