The dialogue, held on the sidelines of the international anti-drug forum currently taking place in Samarkand, focused on pressing issues for the further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the World Health Organization.
Particular attention was paid to ongoing reforms in the national healthcare system, enhancing the efficiency of digital medicine, improving the regulation of the pharmaceutical market, and expanding regional ties. During the meeting, the parties specifically discussed strengthening collaboration with the World Health Organization in the areas of treatment and rehabilitation for individuals suffering from drug addiction.
