Recently, the e-mail of the diplomatic mission received an appeal from citizen D.B., a native of the Samarkand region, a mother of two children, according to the Dunyo news agency.
In her appeal, she said that for several years she had been living in the city of Ansan with her husband and children. In 2024-2025, she worked at an enterprise for the production of semi-finished products in the city of Asan, but due to her deteriorating health, she was forced to resign.
At the time of the application, the applicant was in a serious state of health and in a position that did not allow her to perform physical work. Due to family disagreements and financial difficulties, she asked for assistance in returning to her homeland with her children.
The situation was promptly investigated by the Embassy in cooperation with the representative office of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan in Seoul. It has been established that the family is indeed experiencing serious financial difficulties and does not have the means for daily needs.
As part of the attention paid by the Uzbek leadership to supporting compatriots abroad, citizen D.B. and her two minor children were provided with temporary housing.
With the assistance of the Embassy and the Migration Agency, air tickets were purchased, and their safe return to Uzbekistan was ensured on April 24 this year.
The compatriot expressed gratitude to the Government and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the assistance provided, noting that diplomatic missions abroad play an important role in supporting citizens in such situations.
