On June 10, 2024, a meeting was held in the Republic of Korea with the participation of Sharofiddin Qodirov, Chief Engineer of "O'zbekiston Temir Yo'llari" JSC, Anvar Dushaev, Head of Department at the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Lee Yong-bae, President of Hyundai Rotem.
During the negotiations, issues regarding the timely delivery of the "Jaloliddin Manguberdi" high-speed electric train were discussed. Furthermore, an agreement was reached on the technical specifications for the delivery of 8 modern electric trains with the aim of launching high-speed train services on the "Tashkent–Andijan" and "Tashkent–Termez" routes.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation and effectively implement joint projects.
