It is noted that in order to ensure the execution of instructions from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the committee studied tariffs for domestic flights in the aviation market, price formation procedures, and service accessibility.
During the study, opportunities to optimize transportation costs associated with flights were analyzed, and proposals and recommendations were developed to lower domestic airfare prices.
These proposals were supported by higher authorities. As a result, the Competition Committee, in cooperation with "Uzbekistan Airways" JSC, revised the domestic flight tariffs.
It is highlighted that these measures are aimed at making air travel more convenient and affordable for the population, developing domestic tourism, expanding interregional mobility, and creating additional convenience when planning business trips and personal visits.
The Competition Committee continues to systematically analyze and study markets affecting public interests, paying special attention to taking practical measures on identified issues.
