This surge was largely
influenced by the start of the new academic year for all courses across all
higher education institutions in the capital.
During the morning rush
hour, high passenger traffic was observed at the Chinor, Sergeli, Choshtepa,
Almazar, Chilanzar, Buyuk Ipak Yuli, Dustlik, and Beruniy metro stations.
To effectively manage the
growing passenger flow and create comfortable conditions for citizens,
"Tashkent Metro" JSC has shortened train service intervals. Specifically:
On the Chilanzar line — 1.5–2 minutes
On the Uzbekistan line — 3 minutes
On the Yunusabad line — 4 minutes
On the Circle line — 7–8 minutes
"Tashkent Metro"
JSC reported that passenger traffic is continuously monitored. To ensure
convenience and traffic safety, train operations will be adjusted according to
passenger flow as needed.
