During the
meeting, the parties discussed the development of digital education, the
creation of IT education centers in remote regions of the country, as well as
providing talented youth with modern equipment in the field of information and
communication technologies.
Special
attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects within the framework
of the Official Development Assistance Program (ODA) of the Government of
Japan. The parties agreed to develop a concept for initiatives aimed at
developing digital inclusion and sustainable development in Uzbekistan by
attracting grant funds.
As part of
the cooperation, it is planned to:
establishment
of a Japanese Digital Center in Uzbekistan;
expanding
the reach of young people with digital skills and modern technologies;
implementation
of joint projects in the field of digital inclusion and sustainable
development.
It is noted
that this partnership will contribute to reducing digital inequality, ensuring
equal opportunities between regions and developing human capital in the
country.
