BYD is one
of the world's largest manufacturers of electric vehicles and vehicles powered
by new energy sources. In June 2024, the production of cars of this brand was
launched in the Jizzakh region.
During the
meeting, the parties discussed the current results of the project for the
production of electric vehicles in Uzbekistan, as well as further plans to
expand production capacity, increase localization and develop the export
potential of the enterprise.
Special
attention was paid to the development of production infrastructure, increasing
export volumes, as well as the creation of a network of fast charging stations
for electric vehicles in the republic.
Following
the talks, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening
long-term cooperation and the successful implementation of the BYD project in
Uzbekistan.
