According
to the Report, this is reported by the British media with reference to the
UKHSA Agency.
"Two
British citizens have been confirmed infected with hantavirus, and another case
is suspected on the territory of Tristan da Cunha Island," the report
said.
It is noted
that the British authorities are preparing for the arrival of the MV Hondius
liner in Tenerife on Sunday.
"Currently,
none of the British citizens on board have symptoms, they are being closely
monitored," the agency said.
The World
Health Organization previously reported that seven cases of hantavirus
infection on the liner had been confirmed. Three people have died, one is in
intensive care in South Africa, and two more require medical evacuation.
