The launch of the Japanese H3 launch vehicle, which took place on December 22 at the Tanegashima cosmodrome, ended in an accident. The rocket was supposed to launch the Michibiki 5 navigation satellite into orbit. As reported by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the regular second stage of the second engine launch did not take place during the flight. As a result, the engine shut down prematurely, and the satellite could not be launched into the calculated orbit. The launch was officially declared unsuccessful, reports korrespondent.net.
