Gross domestic product per person in Uzbekistan approached nearly 28 million soums

In the first half of 2026, the volume of gross domestic product per capita in Uzbekistan reached 27.95 million soums. This indicator increased by 6.6 percent in real terms compared to the same period last year.

According to preliminary data from the National Committee on Statistics, the volume of GDP per capita in January–June 2026 amounted to 27,950.1 thousand soums.

This indicator has been growing consistently in recent years. Specifically, following the results of January–June, the volume of GDP per capita was:

In 2022 — 12,458.1 thousand soums

In 2023 — 14,576.7 thousand soums

In 2024 — 18,126.0 thousand soums

In 2025 — 23,890.2 thousand soums

In 2026 — 27,950.1 thousand soums

Also, compared to the figure for January–June 2022, the volume of GDP per capita in the same period of 2026 has increased more than 2.2 times.
