Specifically,
the construction of a 150 MW (300 MWh)
energy storage system has begun in the Mirzo Ulugbek district, with a project
value of $86.1 million.
Furthermore,
in cooperation with AMEA Power, there are plans to build a 200 MW (800 MWh) energy storage
station in the Gijduvan district, with a total estimated cost of $200 million.
Additionally,
a project is underway in the Kungrad district to construct a 1,000 MW wind power plant and a 40-kilometer power transmission line,
valued at $1.06 billion.
According
to experts, these projects will serve to strengthen Uzbekistan's energy
infrastructure, expand renewable energy sources, and enhance the stability of
the energy supply.
