As noted, while ascending to various altitudes in the atmosphere, the
meteorological sonde installed on the aerological balloon measures air
temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, and direction in
real-time, transmitting the data to a ground-based receiving station.
The obtained data enables specialists to analyze the state of the
atmosphere at various altitudes and use it in synoptic analyses.
The introduction of aerological observations expands the possibilities for
refining weather forecasts and detecting dangerous hydrometeorological
phenomena in advance.
Furthermore, accurate data on the upper layers of the atmosphere is of
great importance in providing meteorological information to aviation,
agriculture, transport, and other sectors of the economy.
The successful launch of the aerological balloon for the first time in
Bukhara marked an important step toward developing the hydrometeorological
observation system in Uzbekistan based on modern technologies.
By utilizing this new technology, the opportunity to obtain broader
information about ongoing atmospheric processes and form a rapid meteorological
database increases.
