Today, the
first passengers who departed from the Parkent station at 06:52 arrived at the
Tashkent Central Railway Station at 07:50. The train covered the distance of 52
kilometers in approximately 58 minutes.
The
electric train departs from Parkent early in the morning and returns to Parkent
in the evening from the Tashkent‑Yujniy railway
station at a time convenient for passengers — at 18:24.
The launch
of the new railway service will improve the transport accessibility of the
Parkent district and create additional conditions for the development of
tourism. It is expected that a more convenient connection with the capital will
contribute to an increase in tourist flow and the development of local
infrastructure and the service sector.
The
electric train is equipped with 586 seats, and its total capacity is up to
1,154 passengers.
The fare
for adults is 10,000 sums, and for children under 10 years of
age — 6,500 sums.
The launch
of the “Parkent – Tashkent – Parkent” route will be an important step in
improving the transport accessibility of the area and expanding opportunities
for residents and visitors of Parkent.
