He was
accompanied by Aziz Abdukhakimov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of
Uzbekistan on Environmental Issues — Chairman of the National Committee for
Ecology and Climate Change.
During the
visit, the President of Mongolia was briefed on the reforms being implemented
in our country in the field of ecology. Views were also exchanged on
environmental protection, climate change, and further developing cooperation
between the two countries.
Ukhnaagiin
Khurelsukh gave a high appraisal of the initiatives put forward by the Uzbek
side and the work being done to solve environmental problems. Furthermore, he
noted his readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in solving
ecological and climate problems.
