The operational event was conducted by employees of the Kibray district Department of the Department of the Prosecutor General's Office together with representatives of other law enforcement agencies. The head of the institution was detained with physical evidence.
As reported, citizen Zh.B. built a house on the territory of the mahalla "Goliblar" on the basis of permits from relevant organizations. Despite this, U.Y. stated that the house was located too close to the canal, and announced his intention to go to court to take action.
He demanded 16 thousand dollars, promising to inform the court if he received the money that all the shortcomings had been eliminated and to drop the claim. The head of the institution was detained in his office after receiving 5,000 dollars from the requested amount.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact under article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (receiving a bribe). Investigative actions are currently underway.
