This was reported by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan.

As noted, the return to Uzbekistan of these persons suspected of committing crimes of varying severity was the result of long-term cooperation between the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan and the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the UAE.

As a result of the coordinated actions of the National Central Bureaus of Interpol of Uzbekistan and the UAE, as well as the interaction of the competent authorities of the two countries, the necessary procedures were carried out.

Since the beginning of this year, 16 persons who were wanted by Interpol have been extradited from the UAE to Uzbekistan.

It is noted that this result indicates the practical effectiveness of international cooperation in the field of search. In addition, stable working relations between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries are important in combating transnational crime and preventing perpetrators from evading responsibility.

The National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan continues to work on locating persons hiding abroad and returning them to Uzbekistan in accordance with the procedure established by law.
