Yesterday, Aslam Akbarov, the Consul General of the Consulate General of
Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, visited City Emergency Hospital No. 1 in Omsk to
check on the condition of two citizens of Uzbekistan who were injured in a fire
that occurred on August 15 in the "Kvartaly Dravert" area of the
city. This was reported by the "Dunyo" IA.
According to the on-duty physician, citizen I.Z. was transferred to the
intensive care unit with burn injuries. His condition is critical, and he has
been connected to a mechanical ventilation (life support) machine.
The second citizen, O.E., is currently undergoing treatment in the
intensive care unit of the purulent-septic department. His condition is also
assessed as critical.
Currently, Russian doctors are holding a medical council via video
conference with their Moscow colleagues. The Russian side is paying special
attention to the treatment and recovery process of the injured citizens.
Today, on the morning of August 17, the Consul General of the Consulate
General is scheduled to meet with the hospital's chief physician, the heads of
the burn and purulent-septic departments, and the head of the medical service.
