While 7.7
million tourists arrived in our country during the first seven months of the
year, 1.4 million tourists visited in August alone.
The
highest growth in tourist arrivals was recorded from China (2.3 times),
Malaysia (2 times), Japan (1.5 times), the US (1.4 times), and Russia (1.3
times). Additionally, visits from Germany increased by 25 percent, from France
and Great Britain by 21 percent, and from Turkey by 15 percent.
Meanwhile,
exports of tourist services reached $4.6 billion — 53.5 percent more compared
to the same period last year.
