Uzbekistan
Airports reports that flights will be operated twice a week: on Tuesdays and
Saturdays from Tashkent to Kazan, as well as on Mondays and Fridays from Kazan
to Tashkent. The flight duration will be about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The launch
of the new air route will expand transport and tourism links between Uzbekistan
and the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as create additional opportunities for
business trips, tourism and visits to relatives.
With the
launch of Nordwind Airlines in this direction, the number of carriers operating
flights between Tashkent and Kazan will increase. Currently, Uzbekistan
Airways, Centrum Air, FlyOne Asia and UVT Aero airlines also operate flights on
this route.
The opening
of the new flight will be another step towards expanding the international
route network of Tashkent Airport and increasing transport accessibility
between the regions of the two countries.
