According to the proposed changes, 527.23 hectares of land from the Gulistan district and 582 hectares from the Boyout district are planned to be transferred to the jurisdiction of the city of Gulistan. Additionally, 638.77 hectares of land from the Boyout district will be transferred to the city of Shirin.

As noted, Gulistan and Shirin are among the most densely populated areas in the region. Expanding the city boundaries is expected to reduce population density, improve transport communications, and create new opportunities for implementing major projects.

It was also emphasized that the conditions will expand for establishing new industrial zones, technoparks, and high-tech enterprises in these areas, as well as creating new jobs in construction, services, and industry.

It was reported that the issue of changing the boundaries was discussed at gatherings of citizens in respective makhallas, district and city Kengashes of people's deputies, and the regional Kengash. The cartographic diagram of the boundaries and the description of the border line have also been approved.

The draft decision on the matter was approved by the deputies.
