The
tournament featured the opening ceremony and the final races in a number of
disciplines. The event was attended by Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy
Majlis and Chairman of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva,
President of the Asian Cycling Confederation Amarjit Singh and Deputy Minister
of Sports Shahrullo Mahmudov.
The
representatives of Uzbekistan performed particularly successfully in the
downhill discipline, completely occupying the podium.:

The
successful performance became one of the main achievements of the Uzbek
national team at the Asian Home Championship, where Uzbek athletes won three
medals at once, taking the entire podium in their discipline.
