More than 100 folklore groups from over 40 countries are expected to participate in the festival. The event program includes competitions in national sports such as Kurash, equestrian sports, and Kupkari, as well as various folk games and exhibitions of traditional crafts.
Currently, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Surkhandarya Regional Khokimiyat, and other partner organizations are making intensive preparations to ensure the festival is held at a high level.
At the conclusion of the event, the best folklore and ethnographic groups, as well as winners of the sports and folk games, will be duly honored and awarded.
