The session reviewed the XIII-XIV combined periodic reports of Uzbekistan on our country's implementation of the provisions of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

The members of the delegation provided information on consistent reforms aimed at ensuring human rights in our country, combating all forms of discrimination and strengthening interethnic harmony. In particular, special attention is paid to improving legislation, strengthening institutional mechanisms and the results of measures implemented in practice.

Detailed information is also provided on the work carried out on the basis of the combined periodic reports submitted to the Committee XIII-XIV on the implementation of obligations under this Convention, adopted on the basis of the resolution of the UN General Assembly of December 21, 1965.
