During a pre-investigation check conducted by the Urgut district Department of the Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, it was established that the responsible persons of the U.D. farm illegally organized the extraction of 90,166.28 cubic meters of soil and 959.94 cubic meters of a mixture of black sand on a plot of land intended for growing agricultural products.
As a result
of illegal mining, the state and society suffered damage in the amount of 1
billion soums.
A criminal
case has been opened on this fact under articles 19211 (abuse of authority by
officials of a non-governmental non-profit organization or other
non-governmental organization) and 229 (arbitrariness) The Criminal Code of the
Republic of Uzbekistan.
Investigative
actions are currently underway.
