The guests were presented the results of the work carried out within the framework of the national strategy for the development of pediatric cancer services with the support of WHO, including the introduction of a digital patient routing system, strengthening regional infrastructure, as well as the development of an International Academic hub as a platform for training, research and innovation.
During the visit, students of the Mehrli Maktab Hospital School greeted Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus with warm smiles, and teachers introduced them to socio-psychological support and pedagogical support for children undergoing long-term treatment.
