The China — Central Asia (Uzbekistan) 2026 Trade Exhibition (China Central Asia (Uzbekistan), organized by the Chinese Committee for the Promotion of International Trade, will be held on October 14-16 in Tashkent at the Uzexpocenter.
After the successful holding of the first exhibition in 2025, the event will be held in Uzbekistan for the second time in a row and will become a major international platform for the development of trade and economic ties. The main purpose of the exhibition is to create a specialized platform for strengthening trade and economic cooperation and business contacts between China and the countries of Central Asia, as well as the development of industrial cooperation and trade cooperation between the parties.
2026 marks the tenth anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership relations between China and Uzbekistan. This year is dedicated to the qualitative development of cooperation between China and the countries of Central Asia. On August 31, during a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the leaders of Uzbekistan and China declared their readiness to open a new "golden decade" of bilateral relations.
Currently, both countries adhere to the principles of openness, cooperation and mutual benefit, consistently expanding opportunities for cooperation in such areas as trade liberalization, industrial investment and green development. All this creates a solid foundation for the current exhibition.
This year's exposition has been improved taking into account the successful experience of its first holding. Taking into account the complementary nature of the industrial sectors of China and Uzbekistan, the organizers will focus on such relevant areas as industrial automation and robotics, cars powered by new energy sources and components for them, as well as artificial intelligence.
Three key features can be identified in the exhibition program.
Firstly, the quality of the goods on display is consistently improving, and the organization of the venues is adapting to modern industrial development trends. This year, the area of the closed exhibition area will be 4,000 square meters, and the open area will be 800 square meters.
Enterprises from 19 provinces, autonomous regions and cities of central subordination of China will take part in the exhibition. Five specialized thematic zones will be organized dedicated to intelligent manufacturing, green energy, consumer electronics, trade in services and vehicles powered by new energy sources.
Visitors will be presented with China's latest achievements in the development of new-quality productive forces. These developments correspond to the priority areas of economic development and industrial modernization in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
For the first time, a special exhibition "China's Opportunities" will be organized, designed to present the national image of the country. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with China's achievements in expanding foreign economic relations, business conditions in different regions of the country and modern intellectual technologies.
An interactive zone dedicated to traditional Chinese culture will also be created. Guests will be able to participate in thematic events and experience China's cultural heritage in practice. Thus, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the business atmosphere of the exhibition, combining the inspection of exhibits and participation in interactive programs.
Secondly, the exhibition will unite leading enterprises in one space and present advanced innovative achievements. About 200 promising Chinese companies have been selected to participate. The share of specialized, high-tech, innovative enterprises, as well as companies with a high level of development and unique competencies, will exceed 30%.
Among the participants are industry—leading companies, including CAMCE, Yonyou Network and Focus Technology, as well as enterprises specializing in selected promising areas, including Lanxin Robotics, Zhengzhou City Unites Steel Industrial Co., Ltd. and LAISAI.
Compared to the previous exhibition, the share of companies operating in advanced areas such as artificial intelligence, energy storage systems and cross-border e-commerce will increase significantly.
The participants will present the latest achievements and best practices of Chinese enterprises in the field of technological innovation, green and low-carbon development, as well as digital transformation. This will clearly demonstrate the key competitive advantages of Chinese industry and may contribute to the introduction of advanced technologies and the improvement of industrial systems in Central Asian countries.
Thirdly, the business program of the exhibition will be full of practical events aimed at effectively establishing business contacts between business partners. The exhibition will become a comprehensive international platform combining product demonstrations, business negotiations, service presentations and technology exchange.
To enhance the practical effectiveness of the event, a number of business events are planned, including the China-Uzbekistan Investment Cooperation Forum, specialized negotiation meetings on trade and economic cooperation, as well as business negotiations between enterprises in the B2B format. Delegations from Shaanxi Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and other regions of China will hold separate presentation meetings on trade and economic cooperation.
Based on the principles of mutual openness and mutual benefit, the exhibition will promote the comprehensive deepening of bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and industry. It promises to become an important channel for Chinese enterprises to enter the markets of Central Asia, and for companies from Uzbekistan and other countries in the region, it will be a significant platform for deeper acquaintance with China and the search for new opportunities for cooperation.
By creating multilateral opportunities for practical cooperation, the exhibition will give a powerful impetus to the qualitative development of trade and economic ties between China and Uzbekistan, promote the joint formation of a new "golden decade" of bilateral relations, and contribute to building an even closer community of common destiny for China and Central Asian countries.
