During the
talks with the Minister of Labor of Qatar, Ali bin Saeed, issues of studying
the needs of the Qatari labor market in the fields of medicine, tourism,
aviation and information technology, as well as organizing targeted training
courses in Uzbekistan in accordance with the requirements of employers were
discussed.
Following
the meeting, agreements were reached.:
on the
organization of the visit of representatives of the Ministries of Employment
and Health of Qatar to Uzbekistan;
on the
establishment of an interdepartmental working group;
the launch
of a special educational program to train medical professionals in accordance
with Qatar standards.
In
addition, following negotiations with the head of the State Employment Service
of Qatar, an agreement was reached to hold the Uzbekistan-Qatar forum in
Tashkent in September 2026, which will be attended by more than 50 employers.
Special
attention was paid to cooperation with Qatar Airways. During the meeting with
the Vice President of the company, Fathi Atti, the parties agreed:
In May-June
of this year, 65 candidates from Uzbekistan will be selected for employment at
the airline in highly paid positions of flight attendants, engineers and airport
staff.;
In the
future, we will implement a project to attract 1,600 specialists with higher
education in the fields of piloting, mechanics, electrical engineering and
engineering.
