The head of
the Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of
Uzbekistan Azamat Abdullayev took part in the forum. He made a presentation on
the development of education in the field of Islamic finance and the formation
of human capital as the basis for the sustainable development of the industry.
In his
speech, the representative of the Ministry presented five key areas for
improving the system of training specialists in the field of Islamic finance.
Among them are the strengthening of the regulatory framework, professional
development of the teaching staff, the introduction of digital technologies and
ESG principles, the revival of the national scientific heritage, as well as
bringing educational programs in line with international standards.
The forum
participants highly appreciated the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at
developing education in the field of Islamic finance and training modern
specialists.
The event
also included meetings with representatives of international financial
institutions and leading foreign universities. The parties discussed prospects
for cooperation, including the development of joint educational programs,
advanced training of teachers and the introduction of international
professional certification systems.
