Uzbekistan
was represented at the forum by a delegation led by Deputy Minister of
Investment, Industry and Trade Khurram Teshabayev.
Speaking at
the plenary session, the head of the Uzbek delegation noted that the economic
reforms carried out in the country open up wide opportunities for international
partners. He also stressed the importance of further developing transport and
logistics connectivity, digitalization and industrial cooperation in the SCO
space.
On the
sidelines of the forum, the participants discussed the prospects for the
implementation of joint projects in the fields of artificial intelligence,
e-commerce, green transformation and logistics.
Following
the event, a joint resolution was signed on the establishment of a permanent
platform for cooperation between investment agencies of the SCO countries. In
addition, 12 agreements were signed in the fields of industry, infrastructure
and digital technologies totaling $ 150 million. The parties also confirmed
their readiness to further expand investment cooperation.
