The Hydrometeorological Service has issued a warning
about the possible danger.
The risk is expected in some areas of Kashkadarya,
Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Navoi, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, and
Andijan regions.
The largest number of areas at risk is in Andijan
Region. These include Andijan, Asaka, Jalakuduk, Kurgantepa, Pakhtaabad,
Izbaskan, Khojaabad, and Marhamat districts, as well as the city of Khanabad.
In addition, rainwater may accumulate in some parts of
the country, which could lead to flooding in certain areas.
Residents of foothill and mountainous areas, tourists,
and drivers planning trips to the mountains are advised to take precautions and
consider the weather conditions.
People traveling to mountainous areas are advised to
check road conditions in advance and avoid places where water may accumulate or
mudflows may occur.
