The event
was attended by more than 400 representatives of foreign hotels, airlines,
catering companies, ground handling companies and tour operators, who presented
their services and travel products. About 1,500 representatives of the Turkish
tourism industry who are interested in organizing pilgrimage trips also visited
the exhibition.
Within the
framework of the exhibition, presentations were held on the rich historical and
cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, its shrines, the current state of the tourist
infrastructure, as well as favorable conditions created for foreign pilgrims
and tourists. At the end of the event, an award ceremony was held for its
participants.
The next
international exhibition within the framework of this project is scheduled for
September 13 this year and will be held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
