This was announced by the press service of the Family and Women's Committee.
Under the updated regulations, up to 50 times the Base Calculation Amount (BCA)—amounting to 22 million UZS—will be allocated from the "Ayollar Daftari" Fund to cover non-surgical treatment costs. Meanwhile, financial assistance of up to 10 times the BCA—up to 4,400,000 UZS—has been established for medical examination expenses.
Previously, surgical procedure expenses were reimbursed strictly within the base prices defined in State Health Insurance contracts. Under the new procedure, the full amount specified in the contract submitted by the patient will be covered, regardless of the medical institution where the treatment takes place.
Another key change under the updated framework allows district and municipal headquarters to allocate available funds not only to women belonging to families registered in the "Single Social Protection Register" or those meeting defined low-income criteria, but also to other families in need or at risk of falling into poverty.
To apply for assistance, women should submit an application to the women's activist in their local neighborhood (mahalla).
