A student
product fair and robotics competitions were organized at the school for the
guests, where students demonstrated their creative and technical skills. The
Zamin Education class presented the process of preparing students for admission
to higher education institutions.
The
teachers of the creative center presented a regional platform for the
implementation of International Inclusive Hub techniques aimed at the
development of inclusive vocational education.
A solemn
ceremony of raising the Green Flag, the symbol of the Eco-schools Uzbekistan
project, took place in Khiva. According to the audit conducted by the Zamin
Foundation, 30 schools were recognized as the best and received international
recognition in the field of environmental education.
Congratulating
the participants, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva noted the importance of perseverance and
love for her native land, emphasizing the contribution of youth to achieving
sustainable development goals.
"Despite
all the challenges and difficulties, only those with a strong character and
true love for their native land can move forward. And I am proud to say that
each of you has these qualities! You are true defenders of nature, and your
efforts bring us closer to achieving the UN Sustainable Development
Goals," said the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zamin
Foundation.
The event
included workshops on healthy eating with the participation of a chef and a
nutritionist, as well as methodological developments on the organization of
school meals with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the
United Nations (FAO).
Special attention
was paid to the creation of a new green public space in Khiva. More than 3,000
trees and plants are planted on an area of about 8 hectares, taking into
account the climatic characteristics of the region. The new park will not only
be an ornament to the city, but also an important contribution to improving the
environmental situation.
The
cultural program of the visit included participation in the Bahor bilan
hamnafas festival, which brought together creative youth from different regions
of the country. The participants presented fashion collections inspired by the
work of Hamid Alimjan, a photo exhibition and choreographic productions
reflecting national traditions and modern art trends.
