According
to Report, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated this on the social
network X, summing up the results of the negotiations between Tehran and
Washington held in Burgenstock, Switzerland.
He said
that the parties had agreed to lift restrictions on Iran's oil and
petrochemical exports and the blockade of Iranian ports.
"Part
of the [Iranian] frozen assets have been unblocked. At the same time, a
large-scale plan for the reconstruction and development of Iran has been
launched," Araghchi said.
Earlier,
the Foreign Ministries of Qatar and Pakistan announced in a joint statement
following the talks that they had agreed on a roadmap for reaching a final deal
between Washington and Tehran.
On the
night of June 18, Iran and the United States remotely signed a memorandum that
presupposes the end of the military conflict that began on February 28.
The parties
met for talks in Burgenstock, Switzerland, on June 21, but the Iranian
delegation soon left the premises in protest at US President Donald Trump's
threat to strike Iran. Later, al hadath TV channel clarified that discussions
between the parties continued through intermediaries.
